Few of us are making any plans to visit Italy soon, so why not bring a bit of Italy to your house? You can quickly be transported to a Roman piazza by dipping crusty bread into this Frantoio Muraglia Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is also perfect for drizzling over a caprese salad, roasted vegetables, or a fresh plate of pasta.
The Muraglia family prioritizes preserving the biodiversity of the agricultural landscape of Apulia and protecting the olive trees which are so vital to their company. The oldest olive tree on their estate is estimated to be 450 years old and produced the olives for their very first pressing. Following ancient tradition, the olives are harvested by hand and are crushed using a stone mill.
The Peranzana olive is native to Apulia and has low acidity which makes it ideal for pairing with delicate foods such as seafood and vegetables.
This olive oil is made using only Peranzana olives and has rich notes of tomato, arugula, radish and artichoke.
Could be a great gift along with a bag of coffee or No. 3 Victory candle that has links to the Isle of Capri.
